ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:38, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Isle of wight archive", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it seems to be the name of an organization. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 08:02, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

the username is my own YouTube account name that I created and upload to . I also have a face book and Instagram page of the same name . I am not an organization . Isle of wight archive (talk) 08:18, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You will need to please change your username as suggested in my above pre-written message. Usernames cannot be that of a website/channel either. You could do a username like "John public of Isle of Wight archive"(just as a example, your real name is not needed) 331dot (talk) 08:29, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
