- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced to multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring and sockpuppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, doing so will result your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Lastly, if you are editing an article about an individual or group of people, please adhere to Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons' policy.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! [edit]Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Anderson Cooper. Thank you. Fæ (talk) 15:10, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
- Clarification; unless being gay is critical for a person's notability, their sexuality is not included in the lead as it is considered trivia. As for being a "hack", this is not considered a word that could be consistent with a neutral point of view. Fæ (talk) 15:18, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

Request reason:
website eCrater (www.ecrater.com) is down. I felt wikipedia article eCRATER should be updated accordingly and found that I am blocked? In addition I reject the claim that my edits are "vandalism." There is also nothing wrong with my chosen username unless you are an enemy of free speech, human rights, and civil liberties in the world.
Decline reason:
Wikipedia is WP:NOTNEWS. Your username violates WP:U as it can offend - I'm a journalist, and free speech is my life, but you're not only pushing an envelope with this username, you're pushing human civility. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 14:31, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
