National Hockey Stadium

I disagree that the name suggests the stadium still exists; it's simply the name of the stadium as it was then. We don't call Arsenal Stadium "Former Arsenal Stadium", and "Former" should definitely not be part of the name. Number 57 18:37, 22 August 2014 (UTC)

PS, I think you are confusing names with descriptions. In this case "National Hockey Stadium" was the name, so does not change when the usage does. It was still called the NHS even when hockey ceased to be played there. Number 57 18:43, 22 August 2014 (UTC)
I think the problem there is that the real common name was simply "Highbury". As this is also a place name, it had to be disambiguated, so the official name was used, rather than adding on "Stadium", a name which was less well used (it's the same for Upton Park/Boleyn Ground).
