Jackfork, I just thought I'd elaborate on the situation regarding the above IP (99.235.94.72). There was another IP (198.96.32.228) that was vandalizing pages and adding false user warnings to talk pages. It added a false user warning to the talk page of 99.235.94.72 under your name. I don't think 99.235.94.72 realized that, which is why it just made the above post on your talk page. Anyway, I went ahead and explained the whole ordeal on the talk page of 99.235.94.72. FYI: American, British, etc. and different spellings

Hello there!

Noted your correction on the Bombing of Darwin article and just wanted to draw your attention to the different spellings across differing varieties of English and the policy of internal consistency in case you were not aware of it. Indeed, "centre" is correct spelling in British and Australian English, and is the usage recommended by the Manual of Style in this case.

I'm aware of the policy and didn't mean to change that word. Through I'm of the opinion that since en.Wikipedia is US based all articles should use the American spelling. If the subject at hand is US centered I will change all words to the American spelling if found, however if it is Great Britain or commonwealth related I don't. Someone has undone some of your work

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okinawa_Christian_School_International has been vandalized multiple times.

I looked at the article because I wanted to know more about the school, so I am certainly not qualified to edit the entry myself.

I've never gone deeper into Wikipedia than an article and its links, but the absurdity of the some of the things in the current article prompted me to look at its history. I found many edits by Wack94, who apparently has no site of his own. However, the talk link beside his name revealed that you had cleaned up after him last February and warned him against further vandalism. I hope you can do it again. Wack94's most recent entry was April 30.

Part of what Wack94 says includes a very slightly changed (and demeaning) version of the name of a person who works at the school. I have alerted the person, but doubt that person has the skills to repair the damage anytime soon.

Perhaps a link to the school's official would be the best fix until someone familiar with the school and its history can write a fresh article. I have met a few of the students and teachers. They certainly deserve better treatment than Wack94 has given them. 96.240.75.78 (talk) 05:59, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

asteroid edits


quit undoing my theories on asteroid formation......I have just as much right as any other person to inject my thoughts into society

just because someone said that is the way asteroids formed , does not make it so, no one was there when it happened and quite frankly, the old theories dont make as much sense as does molten lava coming from a broken up planet as it moves from its orbit

the vacuum forces at work on molten lava will force any liquid into the smallest ball it can...much like what happened to the earth as it careened its way into it's final orbital state

continental drift makes a lot more sense when you look at it this way....put all the continents back in their starting place and remove the water ...you will see half the planetary mass , missing

MGM-52 Lance Edits regarding potential copyright issue

An Issue you are involved in, regarding the MGM-52 Lance Article is taking place on that Article's Talk Page. I removed the reference to animal castration from the Male Contraceptive page because it is irrelevant to the article. The Male Contraceptive page refers to HUMAN contraceptive methods. Please discontinue your vandalism of the Male Contraceptive page. Wikipedia is a source of information that anyone can edit. I'm sure you can see the logic in excluding animal castration from the Male Contraceptive page.

In addition, I also referred to a few other methods that were not included, including the Tantric practice of flexing pelvic muscles, as well as ovulation awareness.

By removing contributions to the articles, you are working against the mission of Wikipedia. If you are interested in citing sources, I suggest that you Google the facts, instead of vandalizing the page. Thank you.

Why did you revert my change

"Storm surge flooded in for a kilometer from the coast. Near the shore there were huge waves."

In many journal articles I have seen it mentioned that the storm surge came in one kilometer from the coast. Obviously we can clean up the wording later but for now it is important to capture the main facts. Many articles have described the storm surge a like a tsunami.

Catholicism Revert

You reverted my edit on the Catholicism web page. Clearly you felt it was vandalism, however it was NOT vandalism. Catholics have no authority of the Priesthood. They claim it through the succession of Peter. Peter was not a pope and the word "Pope" means father. The Bible clearly teaches we are not to call anyone our father (this obviously doesn't include our earthly Father, but includes those in a religion). We have a Heavenly Father. Read Matthew 23:9

9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

Catholics violate this teaching of the Bible. Second, Peter was married (see Matthew 8:14).

14 ¶And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever.


Popes are not married, so Peter was not a Pope. You had no right to revert what I wrote, because what I wrote was truth. You are calling truth from these scriptures in the Bible vandalism? Clearly YOU are wrong. Please put the edit back into the article since I have provided Biblical proof that I am correct.

I was partly correct in deleting the Bueng Kan link as it went to the Bueng Kan township and not the province link as it should have. At the time I didn't know that there were two Bueng Kan's. That plus the poor grammar is why I deleted the change. I have since changed the link to the correct site and corrected the comma's and spacing.
