The Battle of Gettysburg[edit]

Dear HIj, Your map of the Batttle of Gettysburg is cool. Do the Union/Confederate paths on the map have roads that corresponding them? For example, does one of the paths correspond with todays U.S. 15 from Frederick to Gettysburg?

All of the roads that are shown on the historic map are currently streets and highways in Gettysburg area. However, the US 15 highway, which bypasses the town, was built over a century later. The Emmitsburg Road on the map is designated as US 15 Business, I believe. Hal Jespersen 15:36, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
