MY KITCHEN RULES

[edit]

BECOMING VERY ANNOYED AT THE ONE EDITOR WHO KEEPS CHANGING THE MKR SEASON 4 WIKIPEDIA PAGE, EG TABLES AND COLORS. WISH THEY WOULD STOP AS SINCE 2010 I HAVE BEEN EDITING AND NURTURING THESE PAGES AS THE SHOW PROGRESSED!

1. Please stop shouting.
2. See WP:OWN, you might have "nurtured" these pages in the past, but things move on and improve.
3. More than one editor (myself included) thinks that the new tables are better.
4. The new tables are much more informative, rather than just shouting "SAFE SAFE SAFE".
5. You might try to collaborate with others to make Wikipedia better, rather than just obstructing and reverting the article.
6. If you are unable to work co-operatively, you might direct your work elsewhere. WWGB (talk) 04:35, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
If you don't mind, could you please respond on the page's talk page at: Talk:My Kitchen Rules (season 4)? There have been discussions on that talk page. We are always asking you to respond there and we never hear anything from you. Get over with the old format of the table as the goal is to make it presentable and comprehensive. Cheers! --101.119.31.87 (talk) 04:42, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies for shouting!!! Will look at this talk page now.

Australian Survivor Season 1

[edit]

Hi there, firstly thanks for your hard work on updating Australian Survivor (season 1), however I notice you haven't sourced any of your edits. Please remember to always add references for additions to Wikipedia that you make, or your work may be reverted because it is unsourced. Thanks, -- Whats new?(talk) 06:00, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Jake3101: I understand your desire to add more information to the article, but everything on Wikipedia has to be referenced by a reliable source. That means, for example, adding a citation which links to the webpage you are getting the information from. It tells readers of Wikipedia where they can go to verify information you add. You can read WP:REF and WP:IC for detailed information about adding references. Basically, you need to add the following code/tag after information you add:
<ref>{{cite web |url= |title= |date= |accessdate= |publisher= }}</ref>
with the relevent details. That is, you put the website address next to url, the webpage title next to title, the date it was published next to date, the date you visited the site next to accessdate and the website publisher next to publisher. Try looking at other user's use of references in articles. For example, in the Australian Survivor (season 1) article, there is currently only one reference, in the subsection "The game" next to the word Challenges in the table. Have a look at it and perhaps you will get the hang of it. Read more about using it at this page: Template:ref
If you don't use reliable references, your work will almost certainly be reverted, meaning it will all be deleted because other editors will think you've either made it up or written it incorrectly. I'm sure you don't want to see your hard work undone. -- Whats new?(talk) 22:24, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
