Thank you for declaring your conflict of interest. That doesn't mean you can write what you like, you must follow the guidance below:

  • you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation or company, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, logs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company or organisation claims or interviewing its management. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
  • The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria has five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:
  1. significant coverage in
  2. independent,
  3. multiple,
  4. reliable,
  5. secondary sources.
Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability.
  • You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
  • There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Hi Jim, yes, the issue was simply that my browser logged me out originally before adding reference sources.

The sources more recently added are - in line as footnotes - from highly regarded media that are independent, secondary and unaffiliated.

I’m fairly sure that they now are verifiable and prove notability.

The text is as straight and factual as I can imagine, so I’d like to hope it doesn’t read as promotional.

Am I mistaken on any of these, now, after fixing and revising the entry?

First, your user page is not the place to write about your company, it's to tell us about your activities on Wikipedia

Your draft article is supposed to be about the company, but there is nothing on number of employees, turnover or profits, you just write about its projects rather than the company, and "this is what we do" looks promotional. Next, some of your refs, although from reputable publications, are not independent because they are sourced to company sources. Eg The project is based on a sunlight technology that harvests and redirects the sun, which was also created by Ramsey and RAAD Studio., is sourced to an interview with you, so that doesn't verify what you have written, that's not the only one where you are self-sourcing either.

Company articles for obvious reasons are closely scrutinised because there usually a COI, even if it's not declared (which tends to lead to a block). Here we have an article that tells us nothing about the company, just its projects (if you just want to write about the projects, the article title is wrong). Not a reason for deletion, but I don't know why you have put your refs as external links, instead of using standard referencing, see my previous post if you don't know what that is.

I've seen worse, which is why you can still edit, but I suggest that you read the guidance very carefully before you try again, and look at some other articles like Tesco so see whta referencing should look like Jimfbleak - talk to me? 16:10, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Man, I guess I really botched this! I feel like I jumped in a little out of my depth and should have studied more.

But first off, thank you for your thoughtful response. It is much more careful and lengthy than you might have been, or what I could’ve expected, and I appreciate the guidance. I do feel odd approaching this page, and was trying to avoid being “pluggy”. I was confused about adding links in which fashion, to start, and I hadn’t realized that sources that feature info stated from me via interview would be COI. Furthermore, the only reason I refer to the specific project (Lowline) that I did is because that project’s blank link to RAAD is the whole reason I went to do this in the first place. It is the noteworthy work of the company and the source of most of the reference press; shouldn’t it therefore be mentioned? Jajangman (talk) 17:56, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
