- Please be cautious when editing biographies of living people (WP:BLP). Even more than for other articles, personal information must have reliable, verifiable, independent sources. While I'm pretty sure that you're right about Richard Harrington (his family details were removed from his website between Feb and May in 2015, and the same time the details were also removed from the wiki page by a probable colleague) it's still necessary for us to provide sources for a claim that he's separated from his wife - we can't assume it, or publish it without sound evidence. Hope that helps, Cabayi (talk) 11:57, 8 May 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Richard Harrington (politician). Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Your removal of a well sourced piece of text seems to be a violation of Wikipedia's WP:NPOV policies. Cabayi (talk) 16:37, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Yasmin.goldsmith. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Richard Harrington (politician), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. https://www.linkedin.com/in/yasmin-goldsmith-b01497a1/
I'll offer you the same advice I offered your predecessor - Think very carefully about what you do on Wikipedia. Hint: Grant Shapps#Allegations of Wikipedia editing Cabayi (talk) 18:38, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
