@Jcarterminor: You were writing about yourself on the redirect page. Generally, we do not have any additional content on redirect pages, plus the fact of writing about yourself violates our policy on autobiographies. If you wanted to create an article, that was not the place to do it. Since you would have a conflict of interest, you would need to request creation through WP:AFC.
