Meryl Streep
[edit]Hi. Thanks for your edits to this article. I wanted to let you know that we don't tend to overlink the titles of films, so linking them repeatedly isn't helpful. If there are no wikilink marks, it generally means the title has been linked before. Also, please don't remove the '' double marks that are used to italicize titles. Thanks. Mamie Gummer
[edit]I completely disagree with your reverting my removal of "Academy Award winning actress" from the description of Meryl Streep and have explained it more detail on the talk page why I removed it. Gummer may have gotten a foot in the door because her mother is a highly regarded actress, but not because she's won a slew of awards. Please comment at Talk:Mamie Gummer if you dispute this. Thanks. Reverting
[edit]Please don't revert edits without using an edit summary unless the edit is unquestionably vandalism. If you believe an edit that is not vandalism should be reverted, you must use the edit summary field to explain why. Thank you. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 16:51, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
