Article Evaluation

Article Evaluation

The article I chose and read was the Tian Tan Buddha. I chose this topic because part of my side of the family is from Hong Kong and wanted to know a little bit more about the Buddha statue. The information on this topic was very interesting and relevant but I think the top of the information could be a little bit more descriptive since this is one of the top attractions. Some changes for this article to be better is to include the pictures in one header so viewers are able to go through them each time. Also, the article should have a dimension header so that it can include just the statues height (length), width, and structures. Some of the information in the article distracted me which included other near by attractions. This is not bad at all because it does help me and viewers know what other places nearby people can go to when doing research. I did find research the Tian Tan buddha and found some information that could be added to the article which is the statue faces mainland China. As for evaluating sources, there are 4 claims in the article that needs a citation. Overall, most of the references are from a tourist and information website about the Tian Tan Buddha.
