I'm not sure whether this article is going to stay on Wikipedia. However, if it is, it will need to contain links to sources (newspapers, books etc.) which have discussed Jessica's case.

Daughter[edit]

Sorry to hear about your daughter, but I don't think that writing a WP article about her is the way to go. Wikipedia articles should never be written in the first person (e.g. "My Canadian daughter JESSIE FOSTER is an international endangered missing person and a human trafficking victim."); they should be sourced, neutral, non-promotional articles with facts cited to reliable sources (i.e., not YouTube). I understand that you would want to get the reward out, but that's simply not how we do things here. Wikipedia is not a personal webspace where anyone can just post anything they want — even if it is something important like a missing daughter. I would suggest looking around for something like a message board pertaining to your community (might I recommend Urban Planet?) or some other relevant forum. I'm sure you have good intentions, and I hope that you find your daughter, but pleases understand that Wikipedia is not the place to post such personal information — especcially unsourced negative information about a person (in this case, the criminal mentioned). Hi Glendene,

I noticed that you have been editing the article that I started about you. I would recommend that you read this guideline about what to do with a Wikipedia article that has been written about yourself. In the majority of cases, it is best to not edit an article about yourself. All information on Wikipedia needs to be referenced by a published source, so things like the names of your parents should not be added to the article without reference to a published source that presents that information.
