Speedy deletion nomination of Stanley T. Madhatter

Removing Speedy at Billy (J.C.) Davis

Welcome to Wikipedia, thank you for taking the time to create a page here. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you created yourself. • Articles need to provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts or show that it meets the notability guidelines for music. It is now wikipedia policy that biographical articles about living people must have independent verifiable references. As a matter of policy, all biographies of living people will be deleted if they do not have references. Your man may well be notable, but you need to do a few things

• Use wikilinks, eg Memphis, Tennessee, "Let's Go, Let's Go, Let's Go". If the songs have Wikipedia articles, it helps to show they are notable.
• Although you given given references, they are not well formatted, and because they are not in line, it's hard to see what they are supporting. I'll show you after this how to add in-line references with a References section.
• The language is a bit spammy in places. Davis is renowned... inspiration for Hendrix... string of successful solo albums.... Either tone down the language or add references to verify the claims.

The Metro Times Detroit newspaper also ran a cover story on Davis in July 2010.
