Hello, Jmofoshoxo2. I've partially reverted your edit to Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto. Your concern was that the content is libelous, but you did not explain why, and all of the material appeared to be reliably sourced. Wikipedia takes potential defamation very seriously, but it seems both factually accurate and encyclopedically relevant to mention a high-profile civil settlement and a high-profile conviction. That said, I don't think the final paragraph, about the suit filed in New York 8 years ago, was worth including in a biography of a living person, since anyone can sue anyone for anything in the U.S. So I haven't restored that part of the section.

If you have any further concerns about the article, please do not hesitate to let me know. You can get my attention by putting the template {{reply to}} at the start of your reply (but I'll keep an eye on this page either way). -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 02:11, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I really appreciate you reaching out with the justification. It's going to help me a lot to understand how to properly edit. I am intimately familiar with the details of the case(s), so I know first-hand about how untrue and inflammatory the claims are. I will explain with proper sources, as requested. Hello, I'm LizardJr8. I noticed that in this edit to Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. LizardJr8 (talk) 02:13, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
