August 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. One or more of the external links you added in this edit to Socialwikipedia do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. You may wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. - Sorfane 09:11, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually since it's pretty clear that you created the article with the intention of adding the link. I deleted it early as promotional. Theresa Knott | The otter sank 09:14, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Socialwikipedia[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Socialwikipedia, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Please do not recreate the article[edit]

And again. Theresa Knott | The otter sank 10:52, 3 August 2008 (UTC). Please reply to this message before attempting to recreate the article. Theresa Knott | The otter sank 10:53, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia, because it has been identified as an account used for promotion of a company or group, with a username that implies that this has been done by that company or group. See Wikipedia:Business' FAQ and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.

This kind of activity is considered spamming and is forbidden by Wikipedia policies. In addition, the use of a username like yours violates our username policy.

You may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below or emailing the administrator who blocked you.

Your reason should include your response to this issue and a new username you wish to adopt that does not violate our username policy (specifically, understand that accounts are for individuals, not companies or groups, and that your username should reflect this). Usernames that have already been taken are listed here. The otter sank 11:14, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
