I see you're having trouble with references. Look at how I did it...it automatically moves the URL to the end and adds the footnote number. As a bonus, it makes the footnote number a clickable link. Definitely *not* a good idea to manually type the numbers, because then you have to manually keep the numbered list in order. That's hard if the article changes around. Let me know if you need help.
