As a note, I get that it's easy to forget. I always need to remind myself to send out the newsletter. The best way to remember, is to pick a day of the week, and always update the happenings on that day. For example, I always send out the newsletter on Monday, so maybe you could update the recent happenings the same day. You're not being removed from the board. It has been decided that you will be placed on probation, meaning that you have to perform the duties associated with your position, at least once a week. WP:SGH[edit]

Hi, Jonathan. I don't know if you read my recent message; you didn't respond. As I said, the conference at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Grey's Anatomy/Administrative board ended with a decision to place you on probation. Nothing major, it just means that you have to perform your job at least once a week. Today, I noticed you removed all userboxes from your page. This means you are no longer in Category:WikiProject Grey's Anatomy participants, in turn meaning that you are not a member of the project. The userbox deletion also removed you from Category:WikiProject Grey's Anatomy administrative board members. You have not been removed from the board, so that userbox should remain on your page. Your removing of the project member userbox leads me to believe that you no longer want to be a member of WP:SGH; I am hoping that's not true. I have to admit, when you said "I didn't want to be in the board in the first place", it came off as a bit rude. I know I asked you to join, but you ultimately decided to join the board yourself. If you planned on not doing your job, and saying things such as the quote above, it seems counterproductive. Nevertheless, you are still currently on the board, so I am assuming you are staying on, unless I hear otherwise. Oh, my God! I am so sorry that I made you think that! I only removed the userboxes to add them under Barnstars, becasue I just thought I didn't look good after GA Contributions. WikiProject Grey's Anatomy Weekly Newsletter: September 10, 2012[edit]

WikiProject Grey's Anatomy Newsletter: The Week of September 10, 2012

Hello members of WikiProject Grey's Anatomy! We are sending out our weekly newsletter with updates about the project and tasks. Big apologies for the lack of the newsletter last week! We have several new achievements and updates to be announced! List of Grey's Anatomy cast members, developed by TRLIJC19, is in the process of featured list candidacy. George O'Malley, written by Creativity97, was promoted to good article status last week! Cristina Yang, developed by TRLIJC19, Creativity97, and Sofffie7, is now a good article nominee! Our good article character count continues to rapidly increase! Jackson Avery is being developed to good article quality by TBrandley; we are excited for it to go live. Grey's Anatomy, developed by TRLIJC19, and Grey's Anatomy (season 3), developed by Jonathan Harold Koszeghi, are still in the preparations for featured article candidacy. There are many things to be done for the project, in an attempt to exemplify its best work. Below is a list of tasks, and guidelines:

Tasks and Gudelines
Please try to follow these tasks to the best of your abilities. As with any guideline, there may be exceptions, so use common sense when applying them.
  • Character Pages
  • Main Page (Grey's Anatomy)
    • Keep an eye out for vandalism, as that tends to occur at that page.
  • General
    • Many users and IPs have been erasing "surgical resident" from fifth year residents characters' occupations in infoboxes and at List of Grey's Anatomy characters. This should all be held off until more info is given on their current occupation in the season premiere. Revert if you see this, and if it's persistent; warn users.
    • Some IPs/Users have been changing Lexie Grey's article as well as Callie Torres, going against MOS. Revert if you see this, and try to explain to the IP/User why this is wrong.

Weekly Initiative!
The weekly initiative this week, a repeat of last time, is to search the internet, and find season 6 reviews to add to Grey's Anatomy. Search through google archives, and news websites, to find reviews that talk about season 6 in entirety. Please make sure the reviews you find come from a highly reliable source such as a major news site, or a well-known magazine. If you find some reviews, please post them on the talk page of Grey's Anatomy, where they will be evaluated for quality. If you find a suitable review, that fits the criteria we are looking for, you will be awarded a barnstar! Take part in this initiative, have fun searching for reviews, feel proud after the review you find is added to the main article, and be rewarded with barnstars! Help make a difference and get started! Furthermore, if you notice that any user has participated in any weekly initiative and was not rewarded, give them a barnstar ASAP!

Have fun, and don't forget to only look at renowned sites! We hope to see several season 6 reviews posted on the talk page soon!

Grey's Anatomy (season 3) review[edit]

I've read through the section, here are my thoughts:

  • Writing and filming
    • Fisher Plaza, which is the headquarters building for the media company Fisher Communications and Fisher's ABC affiliated Komo radio and television stations for Seattle, is used for some exterior shots of Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital, such as air ambulances landing on the Komo Television newscopter's helipad. -- KOMO is an acronym and needs to be capitalized as such.
    • The last paragraph has absolutely nothing to do with writing or filming, and should be moved to 'cast' (which is the place for this kind of stuff.)
    • These paragraphs are really long, and should be split.
    • This section has a serious problem with the linking of common terms. Some examples:
      • romantic relationships
      • familial background
      • professional experiences
      • divorce
      • love triangle
      • extended arc
      • emotional state
      • morality
      • sentimentalism

Sadie Harris[edit]

I've reverted your edit to Sadie Harris. As you probably know, the article was recently promoted to featured quality, and the paragraphs were split for organizational purposes. The first paragraph covers the character's storylines. The second covers the characters casting and creation, while the third covers her departure and reception. It's not that I like using larger paragraphs, but I do not believe that 13-14 lines per paragraph can be looked upon as a "long" paragraph (20 lines or more per paragraph would be long, indeed). The ones I used for "my" article cover one topic and therefore can't be split. But it's okay if you don't agree, I'll see what the FAC reviewers will have to say on the topic. :) (By the way, I am nominating Erica Hahn for FA very soon.) Hey Jonathan! I like your new user page design. Sorry about the lack of newsletters recently. My primary laptop broke, and I've been using this old dinosaur computer. I wrote the newsletter, and then the computer crashed. I got so frustrated that I didn't rewrite it. Hopefully my laptop will be fixed by Monday, and I can get back to developing articles and writing newsletters. Let me know what you thought about the GA premiere after it airs! You're on EST, right? Season 3 episodes[edit]

Hey Jonathan! I noticed that you're planning on developping some season 4 episodes so I was wondering, when are you going to finish I Am a Tree and The Other Side of This Life (Part 1)? I remember the reception for I Am a Tree was problem for you but I thought you'd be able to do it after Joey and I found some reviews... Hey! Season three episodes are still a priority to me, but I have decided to try something new as it was getting kind of boring. I am so grateful to Joey for finding the reviews for I Am a Tree, and the only reason I used only one, is because I couldn't find the time to write the others. I have also started medical school. The Other Side of This Life (Part 1) was not anywhere close to my interests, as I originally planned to create an article that included both The Other Side of This Life (Part 1) and The Other Side of This Life (Part 2), but had to split it.
