@Billinghurst:, thank you for the welcoming! Just went through the reliable sources. I see why the edit might have been reversed but I still think it should stand since the current link is dead and while the new link might not be from a reliable source per se the content of the page is in fact correct...Joniand (talk) 23:47, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Just because the information exists truthfully on a page on the web doesn't make it a reliable source, and therefore doesn't meet our requirements for inclusion. If it is truthful and notable, then it will exist somewhere reliable. If it is not notable then maybe we remove the statement. We do wish to avoid backdoor reliability, and the possibility of conflict of interest editing. — billinghurst sDrewth 00:11, 14 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
