I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

Happy editing!

Edmunds[edit]

Hi, Juejuebie. Edmunds.com was deleted on 15:09, 20 January 2006 for being a copyright violation of http://www.edmunds.com/help/about/profile.html. Can you prove that you have the site's approval (e.g., written statement somewhere at http://www.edmunds.com/)? Thanks, Sango123 (talk) 23:57, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. By the way, please type four tildes (~~~~) after your messages on talk pages. It generates a signature showing your username and a timestamp, which will look like this: Juejuebie 01:21, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That isn't necessary. Could you please simply rewrite the article in accordance with Wikipedia's Manual of Style? Thank you. Sango123 (talk) 21:01, 24 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Edmunds (again)[edit]

I put the POV tag on that article because I felt that it reads like ad copy. Lines like "Also very useful" or "highly interactive" make it sound like this text comes straight from edmunds itself. We can't make value jugements like that (but we can attribute such judgements to other people). Once everything like that is removed (also registerd signs and TM signs should not be used as per our style guide) then the POV tag can be removed. Don't worry it isn't up for deletion or anything. It just needs to be improved. BrokenSegue 02:29, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Insideline spam[edit]

A tag has been placed on Insideline.com, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Roguegeek (talk) 18:47, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
