Hi Juliet, great selection of sources and writing you have completed thus far. Now, I see there is a wikipedia article for "Passing" that has a section entitled "Passing for White" and I'm wondering if you could add your thorough analysis to that already existing article and flesh it out? Hi and thank you! I decided to make a new article rather than add to the existing one because I thought that the existing article was really badly organized and I didn't want to tackle reorganizing and correcting all of the existing errors. I honestly think that most of the Passing (Racial Identity) article needs to be completely re-written, so that's why I'm making my own article! When I talked to professor Hertz about it after class a few weeks ago she said it sounded like a good idea. Let me know if you think there is a better way to do this. Thanks!! Collaboration as a Wikipedian

I'm going to give you the advice I give all student editors. This may differ from what some professors who are not experienced Wikipedia editors or administrators think. If you want to edit on Wikipedia, first understand that is a collaborative process. You are entering a community of established editors here, and you need to integrate your changes with what is already in established articles, not simply replace established content with a sandbox version. If your copy and paste becomes disruptive, it could cause problems. I'm going over your changes now, but make sure you pay attention to the sourcing and wikilinks that are already present, and don't wholesale delete others' content as you slowly integrate your own.
