Hi there! Thanks for contributing the photo at File:Kash-Patel_Shot-1_1293.jpg. Could I get some further information from you about it?

Firstly, it’s clearly a professionally taken photograph. We love having work of this quality around! As I’m sure you appreciate if you’re a professional photographer, we have to be sure the person uploading the picture has the right to do so. Can I get you to confirm that you are the photographer, as you state in the “Source” field, and that you’re the copyright holder, or are authorised by the copyright holder to license it for use?

(If you’re not the photographer, that’s okay: just change the “Source” to credit the actual creator. If you’re neither the copyright holder nor acting for them, that’s trickier… you’ll either need to get permission to license the photo here right away, or request that it be deleted.)

Secondly, it could do with a better description. At the moment, the description just says “Epoch Times”, which sounds like information on where the picture was previously published, not a description of the picture itself. Obviously it’s a picture of Kash Patel, but could you change the description to state something about the photo itself? For instance, why was Patel posing for this picture? (Compare the description of the existing portrait of Patel, which tells us that it’s his official government portrait, taken at the Pentagon by an Army staff photographer, etc.)
