Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Kabocha, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not yet been. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Mitsubishi A6M Zero

[edit]

Please provide proper references for your additions - citations like Id are completely meaningless and are of no help in allowing the source to be verified. Even if you mean Ibid., this shouln't be used as the referencing will become broken if anyone else edits the article and adds, deletes or moves text.Nigel Ish (talk) 18:58, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please go to Talk:Mitsubishi_A6M_Zero#Article_revisions - your help is needed to sort out the referencing on the A6M article.Nigel Ish (talk) 22:27, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop, all you are doing is making it harder to correct your work. You obviously did not read Nigel's advice. Go to Talk:Mitsubishi_A6M_Zero#Article_revisions. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 04:25, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for what looks like intemperate words; we are all trying to help the article become more readable and have accessible reference sources. I will help you in any way I can. I think I am figuring out the somewhat complex system that is being used. Again, Author, Title, Place, publisher date works best. I will keep adding to the talk page as it applies. Citing Wikipedia

[edit]

Hi, I've noticed that some of your recent edits have been using articles from the Japanese-language Wikipedia as a source. It may be best to look for other sources, or if none are available, to remove the relevant bits; using Wikipedia as a source is not good practice ("Wikipedia and sources that mirror or use it"). - RovingPersonalityConstruct (talk, contribs) 03:51, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you will be kind enough to steer me to the offending edits, I will see what I can do. Kabocha (talk) 18:44, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Poor syntax and grammar maintenance tag

[edit]

Hi Kabocha. I'm directing this to you since you seem to be one of the leaders in the Kamikaze article. The cultural background section contains a maintenance tag for poor syntax and grammar. This was entered anonymously at 22:08 on 20 June 2014 (4 years ago) and was only changed once (I think) fourteen days later by Shii. (By the way, this change by Shii has no citations.)

What poor syntax and grammar did he (or they) mean? The only thing I can see is to move the first two sentences (about State Shinto) to the end of the section. There may be other things that I'd eliminate for notability's sake but these are not examples of poor syntax and grammar.

Do you find anything else in the section that falls under the purview of poor syntax and grammar? If not, I'll make this one change and eliminate the maintenance tag, once I get consensus from the article's talk page.

Reply to your talk page here. I'll access it again in a few days. Thanks a lot. --RoyGoldsmith (talk) 14:34, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
