Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with... Hi, I can see my user page in the English Wikipedia but not in the Hebrew one. Any solutions?

Is there a way to see my user page in both Wikis

Thanks, Guy Kagmot (talk) 03:11, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

For all Wikipedia projects, if you don't have a native user page already, the software will pick up whatever you have at Meta. So create a page here: - https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Kagmot
If you want the Meta page to be displayed for English Wikipedia, you can either ask to delete the current user page or you can replace it with a transclusion of the Meta page. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 03:29, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) Your userpage on each language's Wikipedia is local to that Wikipedia. It overrides your global userpage on Meta at meta:User:Kagmot. For example, my global userpage appears on he:User:Rotideypoc41352. I could overwrite that by creating a userpage local only to he-wiki. Here on enwiki, I have already overwritten my global userpage with one local to enwiki. But if that enwiki userpage were deleted, the global userpage from Meta would replace it. If my answer is confusing, you can see if the explanation at mw:Help:Extension:GlobalUserPage helps. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 03:32, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you,
I first want all my editing and content I create to be recorded under a single account, whether I do it in English or Hebrew. Second, I'd like people who press my user name to see its content, no matter if they do it from the English or Hebrew Wiki. Will a single Meta account solve this? Will my English editing content and history be recorded even if I have only a user in Hebrew and vice versa? Namely, does Wiki record ALL my history (even if I have a single language user page) no matter what language I use, or does it record my history in Hebrew only, if my user is in Hebrew?
Thanks a lot for all the help,
