Seco De Chivo (Goat stew)

A traditonal dish amongst ecuadorians, it is most popular in the provinces of El Oro, Guayas and Manabi.This dish's main ingredient is "Naranjilla" also known as lulo.The way to prepared it is: simmered in beer or orange juice plus the fruit. Variations include Seco de Pollo, and Seco de Carne.

Achiote is added traditionally to the rice for aesthetics.It is common to serve it with fried green plantains as a side.
