Hi there. Just came by to check out the GKR Karate wiki page (https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Go_Kan_Ryu_karate) and noticed it was deleted by you on 19 January 2011 for being an attack site. I do not believe the original purpose of the page was this at all. Did a bit of a look about and it appears that someone purposely vandalized the page enough so they could then abuse Wikipedia's policies and have it taken down.
There's a link on google that is allegedly by the person who vandalized the site bragging about it to other forum users. I didn't add it here as the deletion rules for Wikipedia says not to include any of the deleted content - which is what I'd effectively be doing if I included the forum thread link (it has screenshots of the vandalized page). I can include more info if you'd like to check it for yourself.
Ideally the page would be restored to its pre-vandalized state but what's to stop someone editing it again? Cooper52 (talk) 02:38, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

Hello, I am working on editing a page for "The Chardon Polka Band". I see that you have worked on this page too! I am a somewhat recent contributor to Wikipedia and am wondering how best to get the notability of The Chardon Polka Band accepted on WIKI. A quick google search will show that the band is featured in News stories from Cleveland (and other areas) dating back at least a decade. The group was subject of a reality TV show on REELZ Channel last year. While this was not a popular show. I am guessing that is something notable? Is it better for me to cite things as references ... or attempt to add them as external links. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am glad that the page has garnered other contributors.
Cheers! JK1182 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jk1182 (talk • contribs) 14:09, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
