Biographies of living persons
[edit]Hi KevinNSaisi and welcome to Wikipedia! I have read your comment on the talk page of Richard G. Austin and understand, but Wikipedia has a strict policy relating to biographical articles (see WP:BLP). Particularly important is the need to cite reliable third party sources; information in the article must be written from a neutral point of view, should not be, nor contain original research and must be verifiable. I am not suggesting that your article falls down on the first two points, but it needs references so that its adherence to these policies can be verified. TheSmuel (talk) 13:49, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello KevinNSaisi! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 139 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Richard G. Austin - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
