"Grammar"

[edit]

I've seen you make edits with the reason "grammar", but large chunks of those edits are simply adding commas after every personal name, even when inappropriate (as is often the case); as this is indeed not a grammar correction, rather introducing a grammar error, could you stop. If you think it is correct, could you stop making grammar edits in general until you have an improved understanding. Kingsif (talk) 13:11, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Note that the commas are far from the only grammar errors you have introduced, by the way, just the most consistent across articles. You have broken sentences into improper fragments, replaced periods and semi-colons with commas inappropriately, as examples. Besides grammar, you frequently introduce redundancy and restatement. As your edits are tagged "newcomer task", I imagine someone is guiding you through an introduction to Wikipedia - please pass the shoddy grammar and style notes on to them, too.
