Raj Sharda in Brampton municipal election, 2006[edit]
If you want the information you are trying to add to stay, you will need to cite it. It is a big jump from "no political experience" to having been city councillor in Oakville and and regional councillor for Halton. └ OzLawyer / talk ┐ 18:09, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
A simple search on google show multiple sites which confirm these facts.

Maybe you should call up the town of Oakville to get the real facts. He was defiently a councilor in Oakville and part of the regional council. A simple google search shows multiple sites showing evidence of this. http://www.pas.gov.on.ca/scripts/en/bios.asp?boardID=876&persID=135118 http://councilarchive.region.halton.on.ca/cdm/cdm/council/mn2000/agcl1200/mncl1100/mncl1100.pdf I only came across this and noticed that the statement of Mr. Sharda having "no polical experience" is extremly false. I don't have time to continue an arguement with you over this. However I urge you if you are truly concerned with accuracy and do not have an agenda of you own to make a couple phone calls and you will find that the facts that you removed are true. as for your post I think mr. Sharda was voted onto the council after a retirement so you can check that out if you so choose to. I don't think there is any citation or proof for the statement of "no political experieince" so at the very least that should be removed. And do you dispute his role as regional councilor too?
