Information icon Hello, I'm AliveFreeHappy. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. How do I use "talk pages"? This whole system is like a black box to me. I would love to do this "right," but even the "how to" pages aren't very intuitive. Is here a "Wikipedia for Dummies" that I can use? Sorry if I'm messing this up a lot. Kmccardel (talk) 22:16, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

To use the talk pages, you can simply click the "new section" item at teh top of the page. It will let you put a title in, and then give you a box to put whatever you wanted to write. If you're trying to reply to something already there, then go to the section you want and click "edit" on just that section. If you want to have your comments indented for easier reading, put a colon (:) in front of each, like I've done here.
Talk pages are great for trying to get help putting something in a article, resolving potential problems, avoiding conflict, building consensus, etc. At the end of what you write put four tildes ~~~~ and that will automatically sign it for you with date and time.
Re other help in general, I'm not sure if you got to see the help links below yet - when I was starting I found them helpful. But if you have specific things you're trying to do and can't figure out, don't hesitate to ask, I'll walk you through it. AliveFreeHappy (talk) 22:31, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!
