Hi,

Thanks for your work adding external links to articles to the page Service-oriented architecture. However, Wikipedia advises discretion when adding external links to articles. I do not believe the links you added were spam, just a little excessive. Please see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:External links for specific policy and guidlines. In particular, Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information or a directory or collection of external links. Please do not take offense to the removal, as I feel you did good work. You are welcome to select a limited number of articles that directly support concepts discussed in the article or serve as references for the article. For the rest, consider setting up an external site with this information. Thanks again! -- Renesis (talk) 06:43, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Adding your own affiliate links to Toblerone[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Toblerone. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.--McGeddon 18:59, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Wings of legacy main.jpg[edit]

Please clarify the copyright status of Image:Wings of legacy main.jpg. The template you originally flagged it with refers to it as a "low resolution image" of a "DVD cover", which is incorrect. You might want to just pick a relevant copyright status from WP:ICT#For_image_creators. --McGeddon 19:36, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wings of Legacy[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Wings of Legacy, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Wings of Legacy.
