Per WP:MEDASSESS, a section on the guidelines for identifying reliable sources on the topic of medicine, "Case reports, whether in the popular press or a peer reviewed medical journal, are a form of anecdote and generally fall below the minimum requirements of reliable medical sources." – Muboshgu (talk) 19:44, 11 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]


Where does "generally" draw the line? This does not support a cut and dry idea of what is accepted as a study.
