Hi, Kyman1959! Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for writing the article on Hurricane Hall. The move tool is only available to autoconfirmed users, so you will be able to move it yourself on March 5, 2010. I can move it for you sooner if you'd like, but would you please add more citations to it first? For example, it isn't clear whether

It was purchased in 1803 by Colonel Roger Quarles. Quarles with his wife, Jane Rodes Thomson Quarles and their 2 children came from Virginia. Colonel Quarles was a gentleman farmer. The Fayette County Kentucky tax list in 1826 listed 1563 acres, 30 slaves, 33 horses and 1 pleasure carriage. Hurricane Hall has some rather interesting features. The front door opens into a 15 foot wide hall. One of the most appealing decorative features is the French scenic wallpaper in the parlor and hallway to commemorate the wedding of their daughter, Sarah Anna Eliza Quarles to William Z. Thomson in 1817.

all comes from citation #2. If it does, you can add more citations by linking to reference #2 using a refname. Edit Hurricane Hall

[edit]

On my Hurricane Hall article, I want to re-use reference #(1) for paragraph #4 and reference #(2) for paragraphs 3, 5 and 6. Some how using the cheatsheet with a trailing / didn't work for me. Thanks, --Kyman1959 (talk) 02:34, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Will you check your Hurricane Hall article to see if I've put the references in the right places, and which reference did you want for "The home is in the National Register of Historic Places listings in Fayette County, Kentucky"?
Also, I notice that you have several other sources listed at the bottom of the article, but they don't appear used in the article. Did you intend to list the refs as a sort of further reading section, or did you intend to use them as references?
One last thing- would you format both the references and extra sources using citation templates such as {{cite book}}? All you have to do is copy-and-paste the code and fill in as many parameters as possible. It's an easy way to make sure all the information needed is included in the citations/lists. Thanks, liquidlucktalk 04:29, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm glad it worked out! liquidlucktalk 04:12, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hurricane Hall

[edit]

I uploaded a photo of Hurricane Hall that I would like to include with an article of the same name. Don't know quite how to do that. Would also like to include the photo with the Wikipedia internal site listed in the article, National Register of Historic Place listings in Fayette County, Kentucky. I believe it's # 65 on the list. Help, please.
