Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Kyra Sundance. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. Request reason:

I understand that I was blocked for editing the Wikipedia page about me. I did so only to add factual info about new books I had published. I will refrain from doing that. I wish to contribute to Wikipedia by editing content on dog training, which I am a recognized expert in (I'm a NY Times bestselling author of a dog training book)

If you are Kyra Sundance, you don't need to change your username- though you will need to verify your identity with Wikipedia(please follow the instructions here). Regarding the block itself, as dog training falls within your conflict of interest, you won't be unblocked to just edit about that. You would be permitted to make edit requests if you are interested in contributing about other, unrelated subjects. You may also wish to read the guidance at WP:EXPERT.
