Chaz Bonamie, deleted

[edit]

Chaz Bonamie has been deleted, please don't disrupt Wikipedia.--Commander Keane 01:21, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I was using this as an example to show how open the Wikipedia is about edits, and creation pages. It was a tool I used to teach people about Wikipedia. Thanks for giving an example of how free form it is. Guess I'll have to find some other way to teach students to use the internet for researching and cataloging information.

Mmm, well on the one hand it is great that you are introducing people to Wikipedia (I'm sorry I thought you were vandalising), but on the other hand we need to try and keep Wikipedia on target as an encyclopedia - by following its principles. Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Five pillars have some material on this. Perhaps you could add information that is attributed to reliable sources as your example.--Commander Keane 05:27, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is a little out dated, but wanted to say that I actually ended up making a private mediawiki installation to show people how to use it and such. I found it better in demonstration to show them more than just creation, I also show them templates and go in to depth how the link chains go from article to article.--Ladred
