Jeremy Thurlow[edit]

HI Span. thanks for your comments and welcome. {{helpme}} I wondered, what do I do to get the article I wrote about Jeremy Thurlow reviewed and (hopefully) approved? thanks, Lauriegf (talk) 22:26, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello.
When you use {{helpme}} that will get any helper - which is why I'm here.
If you'd wanted to contact that specific person (who welcomed you, above), you'd need to add a message on their "User talk page", which is User talk:Spanglej.
The article Jeremy Thurlow is of course already live. There's really no 'approval' process as such. I suspect you were asking about the tag at the top, which said "This is a new unreviewed article"? I've had a look over the article, improved the references a bit, and tidied it up a little - and removed that tag. Cheers,  Chzz  ►  22:43, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Lauriegf, It looks like good work that you have done on the article. Congrats on that. I think this page on peer review will help. Have a read. It advises to add {{subst:PR}} this to the top of your page and help should rock up shortly. For guideline pages such as manual of style points or formatting tips, if you type WP:… into the search box (top of screen, right) you will usually find what you are looking for. WP:manual of style, WP:peer review, WP:citations etc all do what they say on the tin and should take you where you want to go. Does that help? If not - let me know. All best wishes and happy editing. OK thanks for this, Chzz and Span. I think I'm getting the hang of it now. Lauriegf (talk) 22:58, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well, great. Good luck. Drop a line, any time. Span (talk) 23:40, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Susan Sellers[edit]

Hi Lauriegf; I'm curious why you'd several times delete a sourced reference to Ms. Seller's age, yet leave the remainder of the article free of inline or reliable sources--the birth date appeared to be the only specifically referenced information. 76.248.149.98 (talk) 13:39, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

HI. Prof. Sellers asked me if I could remove the dob from the article, so that's why I took it out. There's lots of documentation of Sellers' writing and career at Univ. of St Andrews, so I'll try to get some referencing for the article. thanks, Laurie.
