CARNet page

[edit]

Dear Sir,

I am writing to inform you that I am an employee of Croatian Academic and Research Network - CARNet. I am employed as a member of the Editorial board of official CARNet’s website.

CARNet Executive Committee has given me the task to update the CARNet site on Wikipedia in Croatian language and English language. So, I have adapted texts from the official CARNet’s website for Wikipedia in Croatian. Texts are now published on the CARNet page on Wikipedia in Croatian.

We translated the same adapted texts for Wikipedia to English language. I put these adapted texts on CARNet’s page on Wikipedia in English language yesterday. Therefore texts are not copied from the web, they are adapted for Wikipedia. Could you please inform me what is the procedure for getting permit for publication of these contents?

Would it be enough if we sent you a license for publishing content and photos signed by the CEO or we have to follow some special procedures? Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,

Ljerka Culina lculina@CARNethr Lculina (talk) 10:19, 17 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Cn infrastruktura-1-.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Cn infrastruktura-1-.gif. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 16:05, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your suggestion. I have indicated the license status of the image.

I apologize for uploading Cn_infrastruktura-1-.gif too many times. The process of uploading did not finish so I was attempting again and again and on the end all the versions of picture were uploaded.

If you think is necessary, you can delete all version of Cn_infrastruktura-1-.gif except the last one which has been uploaded at 16:51, 16 March 2011.
