Re-booting Magic WikiProject

[edit]

I'm contacting you because you are listed as a participant at the Magic WikiProject. There is a draft for a new version of the main project page up for discussion and I would welcome your comments or suggestions. I wrote the draft because I was encouraged to try to do something to breathe some life back into the project and also to address some long standing problems that seem to dog it. The draft is posted at Wikipedia:WikiProject Magic/draft magic project page. Since starting to edit at Wikipedia in February I've contributed 25 new articles to the Magic project and added material to many more. I would really like to see this thing get going again but I need at least a few people to give some sign of encouragement if I am to continue. AfD nomination of Card Spring

[edit]

I have nominated Card Spring, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Card Spring. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Magic secrets - discussion underway

[edit]

Hi! As a member of the Wiki magic project, I thought you might be interested in contributing to a discussion about magical secrets on Wikipedia. There has already been agreement as to the removing of unsourced magic secrets, as detailed here. However, I think consensus needs to be reached as to what should be done after the secrets are removed. Should the secret be placed on the talk page? Or is just a comment as to why the secret was removed sufficient? The discussion is taking place at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Magic#Removing the method - what next?, and if you are able to take part, that would be great.

Thank you! StephenBuxton (talk) 11:56, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
