If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Linzmax1/E. Lindsey Maxwell II. Esq., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. ukexpat (talk) 05:01, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

January 2011

[edit]

You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, instead of writing it yourself, as you did at User:Linzmax1/E. Lindsey Maxwell II. Esq.. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.

Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.

If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. ukexpat (talk) 05:04, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You made an edit to this page. The first thing to say was that because you placed it between <!-- and --> it was hidden from view and I only spotted it due to the edit log. Secondly it was not properly formatted as per the instructions on that page. I assumed from what you added that you want your userspace draft to go live. If that was the case then, as per the instructions at the requested move page, a requested move was not appropriate and an AFC submission should be started instead. I have now done this on your behalf. If this was not your intent please feel free to revert. Can I suggest you read instructions etc. more carefully in future as your experience at wikipedia is liekly to better if you do. I doubt very much that you have read some of the documents were linked to above as if you had I doubt you'd be asking for this page to go live in it's current state. I mainly deal with requested moves rather than AFCs but I'm pretty certain one of the regulars at AFC will reject your article in it's current state. Dpmuk (talk) 12:44, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your article submission E. Lindsey Maxwell II. Esq.

[edit]

Hello Linzmax1. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled E. Lindsey Maxwell II. Esq..

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/E. Lindsey Maxwell II. Esq.}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 15:21, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
