Speedy deletion of Cyril Leonard[edit]

A tag has been placed on Cyril Leonard, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. TrulyBlue (talk) 12:04, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Cyril Leonard. Speedy deletion of Cyril leonard[edit]

A tag has been placed on Cyril leonard requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

Speedy deletion request declined[edit]

I have declined the request to speedy delete the second version of this article - however it will soon be tagged again if appropriate references are not added. I suggest you look at the source code (hit the edit button to view) of an article similar to yours but that has appropriate references and add these as soon as possible. Please come to my talk page if you need further information.--VS talk 11:37, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Your two references are not quite right but you are now on track - have a look at the two references I put up and provide similar detail for the other two - that is links to web-pages. (This is a minimum style required for now). Good luck.--VS talk 11:58, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
