Taylor Swift
[edit]Isn't she in CSI?? Why did you delete it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lollipop1398 (talk • contribs) 12:16, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- I didn't delete it because of the CSI info. Look at this version of the page as you left it. Read the second paragraph of the lead closely. There are two sentences that are repeated. There's also a grammatical error (or something missing) in the parentheses. I would have fixed it but I wasn't sure what you were trying to do. As for the CSI info, I have no knowledge of that but don't have any reason to doubt what you added. Ward3001 (talk) 15:15, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- Please don't remove IMDB links as you did in Taylor Swift. NawlinWiki (talk) 11:41, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
"I don't mind you deleting those external links on Taylor Swift's wiki page. But those link are official links. Please check out sites of Universal Records, Taylor Swift's Official Facebook and the content on those sites. It is not because fansites claim they are official and they are."
- With all due respect, first of all you don't know that they are "official". I can set up a Taylor Swift fansite, plaster the word "official" all over it, and post lots of photos, comments from her, tour information, and lots of other "official" looking material. That doesn't make it "her official site". That kind of thing is done all the time. Secondly, why does English Wikipedia need a link to a German website when there is already an English site linked? This is the English Wikipedia, not the German Wikipedia. And most importantly, there is one official website linked in the article. That's enough. Read WP:EL for guidelines about acceptable external links. And regarding the IMDb website, those external link are officially accepted by Wikipedia. Look at other articles. Thanks. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
