Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Drmies (talk) 18:23, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

World Baseball Classic

[edit]

Hi! You might have noticed that I changed the infobox image on the World Baseball Classic page back to the tournament logo. I know you mentioned in your previous edit summary that pages like Cricket World Cup, Ice Hockey World Championships, and Rugby World Cup all use a picture of the trophy in their infobox, but that's because it appears those competitions don't use a consistent and/or recognizable logo. I think a better comparison for the WBC page is the FIFA World Cup page, which does use the official wordmark of the tournament. Per MOS:LEADIMAGE and MOS:IMAGEQUALITY, if there is an official logo prescribed by the organization that is available to use (as is the case with the World Baseball Classic logo), we should use it. Hope that clears things up! Captain Parmenter (talk) 17:48, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! I noticed you reverted my edit on the infobox image. Just wanted to make sure you'd seen this message. If you still disagree, let me know and we can raise the issue on the article talk page. Captain Parmenter (talk) 17:01, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
