Hello. You recently removed quite a bit of material from our article on The Independent Institute (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views). Much of the material you removed appeared to be properly sourced and relevant. Please take a look at our content policies, including the requirements for verifiability, no original research, and neutral point of view. In particular, our neutral-point-of-view policy requires that we accurately reflect the content of independent, reliable sources, even where those sources have been critical of an institution.

If you continue to feel that your edit was justified, please don't reinstate it, as edit-warring is considered harmful and may result in your account being blocked from editing, particularly if you revert an article more than 3 times in a 24-hour period. The best approach is to take a look at our policy on resolving disputes, and post your concerns to the article talk page for discussion. Thanks. MastCell Talk 17:11, 20 June 2013 (UTC) Thanks, MastCell. Subsequent discussion has confirmed my edits. There had been quite a few additions made to the article in February by a single user referencing suspect sources. Not sure why the sudden interest in adding references to a story planted more than a decade ago by a special interest party hostile to the subject of this article, but it looks as if a clean up is underway.LysanderMises (talk) 06:12, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A number of things have raised the concern that you and Jurtal (talk · contribs) represent inappropriately used multiple accounts. I've asked for outside input on the question at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jurtal; you are welcome to comment there if you choose. MastCell Talk 20:28, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

MastCell: I am not Jurtal. As a new user, I clicked on his Edit from this entry's Talk forum to see how people self-identify, copied his description as a good generic identifier, and pasted it to my Edit page. I then looked up a quote I wanted to use and re-edited my Edit page with my user name, etc. A friend recently posted on Facebook that someone has been hijacking/writing malicious material taken straight from Sourcewatch ( a group hostile to libertarians) on freedom-minded/libertarian policy groups' Wikipedia pages and asking for Friends to help correct the records. As a Wikipedia newbie I'm likely making mistakes, but I have cited independent sources in trying to counter the clearly hostile agenda Carstalk is pushing. I also made a slight edit to NCPA, and I am still working through the list of liberty-minded groups. LysanderMises (talk) 22:24, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A belated welcome!
