3RR warning

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Carnatic music. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. Thank you. Masquerading

[edit]

I notice that you've made edits[3][4] that substantially changed details but marking them as minor and with a misleading edit summary. Please be honest. -- Sundar \talk \contribs 11:14, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

[edit]

Dear MGC22T, I see that some users have already taken exception to some of your edits. While they themselves may be guilty of biting you and not assuming good faith, I request that you do pay heed to the policies they've pointed out.

Please make sure that you dont violate the 3rr rule. Also, unlike one of the users above who has accused you of vandalism, I for one, recognise that you seem to know what you're talking about. Your edits dont seem at all like the vandalism that he's accused you of. But you must recognise that wikipedia is not about truth. Its about verifiability. So all you have to do to make sure that your edits stay on wikipedia is to source your edits to properly.

I can help you with understanding wikipedia and its policies. Please ask me for any help needed. Also, please avoid getting into arguments with trolls. There are many on wikipedia. Thanks. Sarvagnya 17:40, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

[edit]

Hi MGC22T. I have been reading your content on talk pages and you seem to have some usefull information to share with all of us. You need to organize it into verifiable content. Work with Sarvagnya and he will show you how to bring your knowledge to wikipedia in away that is acceptable to the rules of the encyclopedia. Errr...

Where does the text from Legends of karnataka come from? I suggest you to read our WP:Copyright policies about content. If you copied it from somewhere, then it is most probably a copyright violation. -- lucasbfr talk 11:25, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
