Information icon Hello, I'm Bridget. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Arslan Ash, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Bridget (talk) 14:31, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for letting me know that my edit to the Arslan Ash article was removed. I understand that I should have included a citation for the information I added, and I apologize for that.
I thought that adding a citation would be spammy because I was just polishing the page and making the content into bullets. I didn't think that the information I added was a significant change, so I didn't think it needed a citation.
However, I understand that Wikipedia's guidelines require that all factual statements be supported by a reliable source. I'll try to be more careful in the future to include citations for all of the information I add to Wikipedia articles.
I've taken a look at the Wikipedia guide to referencing, and I think I understand how to add citations now. I'll go back and add a citation to the Arslan Ash article, and then I'll try to add citations to my other edits as well.
Thanks again for your help. I'm still learning how to edit Wikipedia articles, and I appreciate your patience and guidance. MHamidYaqoob (talk) 14:58, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
