Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions, including your edits to Kate Ground. However, please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not be libelous. Any controversial statements about a living person added to an article, or any other Wikipedia page, must include proper sources. Thank you. Tabercil (talk) 12:24, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize. I'm used to the Dutch Wikipedia and I reckon it's easier there to edit and add information without needing any sources. I didn't quite know I need them here. However, the information I added at Kate Ground's page, I got it from Kate's own website. That seems a pretty good source to me. How should I make clear I got it from there? Regards, Maarten (talk) 13:39, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Lex Veldhuis. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, sorry for that. I'm not used to write on the English Wikipedia. I just added a reference, are there more needed? Thanks for the warning! Maarten Inc. (talk) 15:00, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Lex Veldhuis has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not a notable poker player. No sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
