Go to Talk:Battle of Culloden, and on the top, rightish, you should see a button saying "add topic"; click on that and have a go. I'll add a link to our tutorial for good measure.

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 23:55, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

W Owen

[edit]

Thanks for your message on the Wilfred Owen talk page. Would you mind if I wikified your text on the talk page to make it clear that you are responding to my question? You can answer on this page. It will appear on my watchlist if you do. Thanks and best wishes Span (talk) 10:18, 16 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for your message. Wikipedia protocol recommends that if we are replying to points all ready raised on the talk page, that we do so under that orginal section. So if you are replying to a point on Owen's suicide, it's best to do it in the suicide section; likewise with ghosts; otherwise it's hard to follow the thread of ideas. I'd recommend you shift up your recent points to the associated sections. We are not really allowed to mess with other editor's talk page comments. Does what I'm saying make sense to you? It can all seem a bit complicated at first. Welcome to Wikipedia, by the way. You can reply here on this page. Best wishes Span (talk) 12:18, 18 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Do I have your permission to move your comments up to the subject under discussion on the talk page? Span (talk) 14:30, 19 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
