Feedback on your article
[edit]Hello MadeleineN, Thank you for writing your article in your sandbox! I have read the article and would like to give some feedback to improve your article to Wikipedia standards and customs. I especially will look if it meets the quality standards we have on Wikipedia. I standard look for a series of subjects that need improvement or are okay.
- Intro sentence: excellent!
- Links: good!
- Headers: okay
- References: Please look for more sources for your article. An article can never be based on only a single source.
- Context/timeframe: ?
- How was the book received: ?
- Other: Great you used an infobox! I am not sure what you try to do with all the "Observation", you can leave these out I think.
I hope you can implement this feedback to your sandbox article before our next meeting. Thanks! Romaine (talk) 09:04, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
- Hello MadeleineN, Thank you for improving your article! Last week we specifically asked to make sure you add sources/references to your article, because that is one of the most important parts of a Wikipedia article. We also wanted to make sure the intro sentence/section is ready. Let's see how it is going now.
- Intro sentence: excellent!
- Links: good!
- Headers: Too many headers. All headers with 4x = can be removed
- References: Thank you for adding sources/references! Keep in mind that about every section should have at least a reference. If you only used in the "Content" section the book itself, you may mention the book + page (or otherwise chapter) where it comes from in the book.
- Context/timeframe: Missing!
- How was the book received: Missing!
- Other: I still do not understand what you want to achieve with the "Observations". Please focus now on the sections about the context and how the book was received. These two sections should have your priority now.
- Keep up the good work! Romaine (talk) 01:26, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
Hello MadeleineN, I add the image of the book to your sandbox article. Romaine (talk) 05:55, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
ArbCom 2017 election voter message
[edit]Hello, MadeleineN. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
