GA review[edit]

Hi! I saw that you nominated this article for Good Article status, but also listed yourself as the reviewer. A nominator cannot also serve as the reviewer. I've deleted the nomination page but left the nomination up. A quick note, however: a nomination can often take anywhere from a couple of weeks to up to a year to get reviewed - often more towards the longer end, as there is almost always a backlog. As such, the expectation is that you will still be editing and that you will make any of the needed improvements to the article.

I got the impression that what you intended to do was to do a general review of the article on your own, rather than nominate it for a GA review. In this situation it's best to do the review in your own draftspace, at say User:Madzroxx/Political bias article review. You may want to try using this training module when looking at what should or shouldn't be in an article. What you're looking for is as follows:

Detailed lead section: the overview at the start of the article is clear and easy to understand.
Clear structure: there are several headings and subheadings arranged chronologically or by themes, with images or diagrams when appropriate.
Balanced content: the article covers many aspects of the topic, giving more weight to important viewpoints and less weight to fringe ideas.
Neutral tone: the article is written without bias toward a particular point of view, and represents all the different viewpoints that reliable sources have expressed about the topic.
Good sourcing: reliable sources are cited throughout the article and as much as possible.

Definitely feel free to copy that list if you like and to use it to build your article review! There are more training modules like those at this link. Don't worry about the notice that says that you have to log in - these modules were initially set up for Wiki Education students in the United States, however anyone can use and review them. (As a former Wiki Education staff member, I can vouch that we wanted anyone who wanted to use them to feel free to use them!)
