The Light Division page needs to be extensively reworked

Much of the information is about the history of British Light Infantry and belongs there. The Light Division, officially the 3rd Division, was not organized as a mass of Light Infantry until after Talavera (JULY 1809), when Craufurd succeeded Mackenzie.

Prior to this, Craufurd was only one of several officers involved with British Light Infantry. Baron de Rottenberg and Count von Alten did more than Craufurd. In the retreat to Corunna, for example, Alten and Crauford each commanded a Brigade of Lights.

Similarly, there was always more British Light Infantry elsewhere than the few battalions in Crauford's command.

So, I'm not quite sure how this works, administratively, but as soon as I have the facts corrected, I'll be doing major surgery on the Light Division page and probably The Light Infantry page — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mahuna2 (talk • contribs) 16:26, 8 May 2010 (UTC)

Unfortunately although you included short inline citations, you did not add the long citations to the References section so it is not possible to check the reliable source to which you refer. Please add the full citation to the References section (author, year, title, publisher and if appropriate the ISBN.
