[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to 2009, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. [edit]A) Read WP:CON you will find your answer there. B) You cannot quote WP:CITE as a foundation for reverting content for anything on Wikipedia. WP:CITE and a style guideline, not a policy. Perhaps if you read it you would know Mr. Kommandant. The Real Libs-speak politely 15:05, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
- Challenged applies to controversial material related to WP:BLP issues. This is a non-controversial text that has been discussed and a clear majority of editors in favour keeping the text. The only thing left to decide in the current discussion is whether or not to delete 'speed metal'. The leaning consensus is to delete it. But it is not a clear consensus as it is with the other text. I lean towards deleting it. The Real Libs-speak politely 15:09, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
If you actually read the content of my previous message, you would have noticed that I didn't use WP:CITE as a foundation for reversion, but that you clearly didn't use WP:CITE as a reason to include the information in this discussion. Added to that, WP:V is one of Wikipedia's content standards. Where's the WP:V in the article? Furthermore, WP:EW tells us "If someone challenges your edits, discuss it with them and seek a compromise". You haven't come up with some arguments for which hard rock should be added. Please enlighten me, for the Megadeth I know has made thrash/heavy metal music, not hard rock. I agree with you that speed metal is also debatable, but the term speed metal is used (more than once, I believe) by independant VH1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gSkpwrT4ks. Also, since when is Wikipedia democratic? If that was the case, we'd have WP:SOCK in a short amount of time. Majestic122 (talk) 15:19, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 15:27, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
PO
[edit]Hi Majestic122. Regarding the edit summary for this recent edit of yours. "PO" actually stands for "Practised only", not "pulled out". Note that I don't disagree with your edit, I'm just trying to clarify your understanding of what "PO" stands for in this context. Regards. DH85868993 (talk) 23:38, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
